Scope
Leafield designs, develops and qualifies the complete range of pyromechanical devices

Technology
Predominately electrically ignited pyro-mechanical devices (more frequently employing the Leafield qualified 1A/1W 5 minute no fire igniter) and appropriate explosive compound(s). Where possible the design is driven to achieve a UK non-explosive classification to permit assembly in non-hazardous areas.

Applications Include
A wide variety of missile, bomb, torpedo, weapon release and helmet removal.
