Quality Policy

It is the policy of Leafield to design, procure, manufacture, qualify, test and deliver products that meet our customers’ real needs and expectations. We do this by understanding their business, providing the most appropriate products, adopting a commitment to deliver products and services when we say we will and with a competitive lead time, selling our products and services at a price that represents value for money, and supporting our customers and our products both before and after sale.

We recognise that improvement in quality will lead to reduction of waste and cost, an increase in market share and profitability and will thus help to secure our future.

Adoption of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 including the requirements for business planning, the setting of objectives and using measurement of our achievements to determine potential improvements is seen as an essential building block in the achievement of our ultimate goal of company-wide continuous quality improvement.

We recognise that the only acceptable standard is to satisfy real needs and expectations, of both internal and external customers, first time, every time and to eliminate defects in all departments. This can only be achieved by a system which prevents defects from occurring rather than attempting to catch problems in inspection and appraisal.

Quality is the responsibility of every employee. It is the responsibility of management at all levels to ensure that employees are aware of, understand and support this policy, and are provided with the right training, tools, procedures and environment to carry it out.

We recognise the important role of customers and suppliers and it is our policy to develop extremely close relationships with those who will work with us to meet our objectives.
